Learning at Work: The inside-out of creativity: how to be an effective problem solver new Finished 11:00 - 12:15 UIS Online Courses - instructor-led

Our first session to kick off Learning at Work Week at the University, will be presented by Ian Hosking, a User Researcher at UIS, and Bill Nicholl, University Senior Lecturer in Design & Technology Education.

They will inspire you to think creatively and explain how to be an effective problem solver in your work.

Learning at Work: A practitioners view on creative problem solving new Finished 10:00 - 11:30 UIS Online Courses - instructor-led

Day two of Learning at Work Week with University Information Services, will be presented by Dr David Hall, Cheif Executive Officer and founder of The Ideas Centre Ltd.

Dave will share his perspective on creative problem solving and he hopes you will be inspired to take on some of his approaches.

Part of our series of inspiring sessions for Learning at Work Week with University Information Services (UIS), we welcome back Ian Hosking, User Researcher at UIS and Bill Nicholl a Senior Lecturer at the University.

They will encourage you to explore creative thinking to build a creative organization and workplace.

Guest Speaker Carrie Goucher, Founder of Onefish Twofish Ltd, will show you how to have proactive meetings and be creative while doing so.

Learning at Work: Panel discussion – making it happen new Finished 10:30 - 11:45 UIS Online Courses - instructor-led

Our Learning at Work Week programme will conclude with a panel discussion to discuss how we can implement creative problem-solving at the University.

Panelists: Ian Leslie (Director, UIS), Dave Hall (CEO, The Ideas Centre Ltd), Linda Spinks (Process improvement Manager- ourcambridge) and Carrie Goucher (Founder of Onefish Twofish Ltd.) Moderator: Will Russell ( Enterprise Service Manager)
