This two-hour workshop will explore the built-in features in Apple devices to support all users to access content in a meaningful and accessible way. This session is part of the Apple Tech Series for Higher Education and the UIS Techlink series

University users of Apple devices for their work or studies
University users who require assistive technology
Attendees can choose to bring their own device running iOS 13 to explore the technology features. There will be a limited number of devices provided for you to use in the session.

- How to enable text to speech and speech to text
- How to support users with visual, auditory and sensory needs
Participants will have a greater understanding of how to use accessibility features on Apple Devices

Paul Hutton from Academia is a Apple Distinguished Educator & Apple Education Trainer. He will be running the workshop with support from UIS' Mac Support Team
