In this 90-minute session, we'll cover GDS roles and how they operate in context. We'll also explain how BA and service manager roles fit within in GDS environment. To successfully build and run a service, you need to have a multi-disciplinary team with a range of skills. The size of your team and the roles you need will change during the different phases of development. |

Most websites get the majority of their traffic from search engines. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is one key step to improving your content. This is where you consider how easy it is for users to find your website, what they are looking for when they do and try to make it easier for them. During this event, we will introduce you to Google Search Console and how to gain access to it. We will look at what Google knows about your website, and what people are looking for on Google Search when they find your website. Finally, we’ll explore how to use that data when optimising a page on your website. This content community event will also cover:

The Next Generation of IP Register at Cambridge This seminar kicks off the consultation on the future of DDI (DNS, DHCP and IP address management) at the University of Cambridge. You'll learn how these services currently work, and how they are managed. Then we'll describe the challenges we're facing with the current systems, and some of the opportunities we have to make improvements. Accessible content is easy to find, understand and interact with, regardless of the user's ability or the device they are using. One common misconception is that web accessibility only helps people who have a permanent disability. Though 1 in 5 of us in the UK have a disability, all of us experience temporary and situational disabilities during our lifetime.
