Falcon: Further Functionality for Site Managers (Part 3)
Description
This course will cover the use of Falcon Content Management Service for site managers and is a follow on course from Falcon: An Introduction for Content and Site Managers (Part 1 and Part 2).
Target audience
- All current University members (departments and colleges) interested in running a Falcon site
- Further details regarding eligibility criteria are available
Prerequisites
- Prospective participants should be a manager involved in a current or future Falcon site and have attended Falcon: An Introduction for Content and Site Managers (Part 1 and Part 2)
- It would be useful to have some expereince of HTML

- Adding other content to your site – a research directory, discussion forums and forms
- Collections – what they are and how you can use them
- What metadata is and how to add it
- Looking at the ‘back end’ of Falcon
- Other admin functions for looking after your site
