This session is designed for those from the School of Technology who have attended a Worktribe training session and would like a refresher of the system. In the session, staff will also be shown the advanced search and reporting functionality in Worktribe, updates on processes, and PI access within the system.

This session is designed for those from the Dept. of Engineering who have attended a Worktribe training session and would like a refresher of the system. In the session staff will also be shown the reporting functionality in Worktribe, update on processes and PI access/ perspective within the system.

This course is for stakeholders based in the following schools only: Physical Sciences The Humanities and Social Sciences Non-School Institutions Arts and Humanities

This course is designed to help staff involved in the research grant process to gain the knowledge and skills they’ll need to fulfil their role within their departments.

Sessions for these schools will run from 1st August – 11th September 2024 inclusive so please book in this timeframe if at all possible.

This training will be a demo-led session which means staff attending won’t be required to set up a VPN before attending, or bring a laptop for in person sessions unless you wish to make notes or ask questions in the Teams chat that will be set up in advance for you. We have increased the number of staff attending each training session to ensure all departmental staff have the opportunity to attend either in person or online. Please do book on in this window for your school as we will not be routinely offering refresher sessions, although, support will be available to all users until Worktribe is live and you will have limited access to a test environment after the course.

Once you have attended a training session there will be a follow-up email with information on how to set up for VPN and sign onto the Worktribe TRAIN environment so you are able to familiarise yourself with the system before your school goes live.
