English: Cultural Awareness
This informal seminar will consider some of the cultural differences experienced by participants, and also address questions arising from various aspects of living and working in both the multi-cultural environment of the University and the wider British community.

- No other students, members of staff or visiting scholars are eligible for this course. If you are not eligible, please do not sign up, as your name will be deleted from the list without further notice. - Aspects of the British lifestyle, British culture and contemporary social issues
- To demonstrate the importance of intercultural awareness in a multicultural environment such as the University
- To focus on the British lifestyle, considering aspects of behaviour, manners, social conventions and traditions
Class work and participation
If you sign up but cannot attend a workshop, your can remove your name from the list in advance. However, if your name appears on the register and you do not attend the workshop or provide a reason for not attending, your name may be removed from subsequent attendance lists without notice to make space for those on waiting lists.
