English: Speaking Skills: Pronunciation Skills (Wednesdays) Please note, this course also runs on Thursdays
This course is intended for non-native speakers who wish to improve their pronunciation skills. Each week there will be an introduction to an aspect of English pronunciation with opportunities to practise, both individually and in groups, and also to work with the teacher.

- Pronunciation of sound combinations
- Pronunciation of word combinations
- Intonation at the discourse level, e.g. in spoken dialogues
- To improve pronunciation skills and the use of stress, rhythm and intonation patterns
- To develop clarity and fluency in a variety of situations
- To develop your awareness of your pronunciation strengths and weaknesses
Class work and individual study
Signing up for a course requires commitment for the full course. If you fail to attend the first workshop of the course and do not email your reason for not attending, your name will be removed from the attendance list without notice to make space for those on the waiting list.
